These lovely photos were taken by Marvin Jansen, who generously donated them to us for use on the LPT web site. Mr. Jansen is employed at the Taylor Hardin Secure Medical Facility in Tuscaloosa, AL where he is Director of Maintenance Services.

He was a part-time photographer for The Thomasville Times for 15 years and says he feels pleased that his last picture for that newspaper was the one of the Lower Peach Tree United Methodist Church. (It was featured on that newpaper’s front page in December 2004.)

Thank you so much for providing a lasting record of the church as it looked for the special Christmas Candlelight Service last year.
